In January 2017 The Warren Smith Ski Academy will be running the 14th edition of our highly acclaimed Gap Year Ski Instructor Training Programme. Over the years we have been incredibly proud to have trained and qualified over 500 students who have then gone on to successful careers in ski teaching.
Verbier, Switzerland will play host to our 9 week course. This incredible resort’s reputation is up there with the worlds best! Miles and miles of immaculate pistes link Verbier to the vast 4 Vallais region which provide the perfect training ground. However, Verbier’s biggest draw comes from it’s amazing off piste terrain. Steep couloirs, endless powder bowls and magical tree skiing will be the playground for our students and leave each and every one of them with memories for life.
On successful completion of the course students will have acquired the IASI level 1 & 2 awards which will open the doorway to teaching skiing across the globe. On top of that Other course extras we include are Avalanche Awareness Lectures, the Emergency Outdoor First Aid course a Pro Ski Servicing workshop and the IASI Level 1 Freestyle coaching award.
