The telegraph ski and snowboard shows are all wrapped up for another year and it’s safe to say that they were the most impressive and well attended we have seen for many years.
The excitement has been building for many months leading up to the Manchester and London show’s as throughout the UK ski industry these brilliant events Mark the unofficial start to the winter.

For the past 3 years the Ski show North in Manchester has been a great opportunity for the academy to welcome new and old clients from all over the north of the U.K. Although the show didn’t share the outdoor attractions of it’s bigger brother in London, it was still brilliant to get a taste of what’s new within the industry for the approaching Winter

The London ski show has been a regular slot in the Academy’s Callander for the past 15 years. This year we saw a change in venue to the amazing Battersea Park evolution. The show was a true indoor and outdoor spectacle. The indoor arena housed a full compliment of products and attractions including fashion shows, stand up comedians, and the Animal Bike tour.

The Academy’s presence was also a huge highlight for all attendees.
As well as being on hand to talk about the next 12 months of courses and products, the team also provided the service as being the shows official on site technique specialists.
Each day Warren and the team delivered a lecture at the shows ‘Mountain Talks Theatre’ in which we presented our coaching philosophy of the three way lineage to successful skiing. Educating people on the relationship between Ski Technique, Biomechanics and Ski equipment is IN the Academy coaching DNA.
Our stand became a hub for people wanting to undergo these tests and find out what could be done away from snow to help develop their skiing performance.

The Academy stand was a constant buzz of activity over both of the Telegraph Ski & Snowboard shows The interest in Academy products and the Ski Technique lab was a great boost for all the team. Our email database grew a considerable amount due to people signing up to our regular newsletters and social media feeds.

The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard shows have left us as motivated as ever keep producing our unrivalled products in all of our location across the globe.
Our 5 day courses are already in full swing in our Autumn resort of Cervinia, Italy and the Winter schedule in Verbier will follow as we move into December.
