ABOUT THE SKI COACHING TEAM

Tom Lewis

Tom’s enthusiasm for skiing is utterly infectious. He has spent the past five years developing recreational and professional skiers in Courchevel and Verbier before being selected to become a member of the Warren Smith Ski Academy coaching team.

Tom’s passion for skiing began at the age of fourteen when he started to pursue his career as a performance ski coach. His dedication to teaching has resulted in him becoming one of the most sought after coaches in Europe today.

Tom has devoted most of his training time developing his skiing in variable terrain which has enabled him to become a talented coach in areas such as moguls and off piste.

Tom’s membership and qualifications include:
  • BASI 1, 2 and 3
  • ISIA (International Snowsport Instructors Association)
  • APC (Alpine Performance Coach)
  • BASP  (British Association of Snowsport Patrollers)
  • EMS (European Mountain Safety)
