Utah 2012 – Powder Camp – 29th January to 8th February 2012

For the last few years Warren has been talking about going to Utah in the USA and there has been a lot of positive feedback from clients wishing for an Academy trip of this kind.  The Academy and Ski Independence have teamed up to bring a tailor made trip of a lifetime.  On January 29th 2012, the team will be leaving from London Heathrow to the USA.  The majority of the trip will be spent skiing Snowbird in Utah, and then the final few days will be spent in Park City for some more skiing and a little bit of winding down in the vibrant apres which Park City is known for.

Snowbird is situated in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon which is a mile from Alta. Averaging approximately 500 inches of dry light powder annually with a lot of steep skiing and tree lines, makes it ideal for the freerider.

Park City, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Sundance Film Festival, is alive and kicking. So after 6 days of continuous powder skiing in Snowbird, the addition of some colourful night time activities after a day on the snow will be available to those with endless energy!
The Utah trip will run early February, escaping the busy European half term. To read a detailed itinerary, click here. Hope you can join us!
