ACADEMY WINTER GAP YEAR PROGRAM 2015/16
Winter 2016 will see the Warren Smith Ski Academy enter into it’s 13th year of running the Gap Year Ski Instructor Training Program in Verbier, Switzerland.
During this time we have perfected our course structure to provide our groups with the highest level of coaching plus all the experience of our well seasoned team both on and off the mountain. This all helps to ensure each individual has one of the most memorable times of their lives.
DON’T JUST BECOME A SKI INSTRUCTOR Our 95% pass rate over the last 10 years proves that our desire for our students to pass the internationally recognised exam is of the utmost importance. But here at the Academy we want our group to walk away with a much broader skill set. Moguls, Freeride, Freestyle and Apres ski are all covered to an incredibly detailed level.
As an added extra, our 2016 Winter Gap Year Course will include the UKCP Level 1 Freestyle award. This award is designed for people who would like to introduce children in the UK to all forms of Freestyle skiing. Other course extras include Avalanche Awareness Lectures, Emergency Outdoor First Aid course and a Pro Ski Servicing workshop.
