An amazing first week of the summer 2011 European ski season!

The first week of the European summer ski season was amazing. We had about 20cm’s of fresh snow on Wednesday which made Thursday’s skiing amazing. Friday was perfect hard pack snow as well, almost the same as a typical January ski day in the alps. Actually, probably better than January last season! Great set up for week two. I’m over here on the Saas-Fee glacier in Switzerland. We’re running the Warren Smith Ski Academy (http://www.warrensmith-skiacademy.com ), British Freeski Camps 2011 (http://www.britishfreeskicamps.com ) and on the 23rd July it’s the Saas-Fee Ride 11, a summer European freeskiing comp. Gonna be a busy summer! Hope some of you can make it over here for a ski….
