GAP SKI INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM Warren Smith Ski Academy - GAP 2008 - 100% Proof
Congratulations has to go to the Warren Smith Ski Academy – GAP 2008 students who achieved the nearly impossible task of getting a 100% pass rate out of a massive 30 entrants from their BASI Level 2 exam in March. All 3 groups of 10 students that entered the Level 2 passed which is an extremely high volume pass rate for BASI.
There was a fantastic rapport between the GAP students this year, with a diverse range of people with ages ranging from 16 - 55. There were those taking there year out before university, those taking a career break wishing to get their skiing to a high level and those who were solely dedicated to becoming ski instructors and working in the ski industry. Many close bonds and friendships were made that will for sure last a life time. It was an emotional end to the course with the extreme highs of the entire group achieving their ski instructor qualifications, and tears at the departing of lifelong friends made.
Due to the partnership between the Warren Smith Ski Academy and Verbier’s highly regarded local Swiss Ski School, the Ecole Suisse de Ski Verbier, each of our students were awarded with jobs in the school after receiving their Ski Instructor Qualification. It is an exciting step in a new full time career or even holiday job.
