When I started my first job working for a bank, I quickly realised it wasn't for me! Having given up my career in banking, and skiing with the Warren Smith Ski Academy on a ski performance course in Saas-Fee, I decided to go on the Warren Smith Ski Academy GAP Ski Instructor course after looking around at several others and feeling more confident at starting my career as a ski instructor with Warren and the boys.

I feel choosing Warren's team was the best choice and I was very impressed with the commitment and team work from the Academy coaches who really push you to get the best out of your skiing and pass the BASI level 2. To achieve a 100% pass rate was well deserved for them s well as all the group who put in a massive amount of effort!

Chalet Bouton d'Or The accommodation was wonderfully located and I was a 30 second walk away from the main ski lifts which was extremely practical. Verbier itself is a great location for the GAP course as it has great skiing and awesome night life.

A typical day would consist of a 10 o'clock start with a group warm up. We would then split up into our groups and start our training, trying different exercises to help improve our technique. At the end of the day we would end with a warm down and then a relaxed drink at 1936, a bar on the lats descent to the resort. On Tesday and Thursday nights we would have video analysis. On occassional nights we would head to the Farinet Apreski bar as a group.
