GAP 2008 - 100% PASS RATE!!
Congratulations has to go this month to the Warren Smith Ski Academy – GAP 2008 students who achieved the nearly impossible task of getting a 100% pass rate out of a massive 30 entrants from their BASI Level 2 exam in March. All 3 groups of 10 students that entered the Level 2 passed which is an extremely high volume pass rate for BASI. A lot of the students have been working for Ecole de Ski Verbier over the busy Easter weeks. Big Respect GAPies!! Click here to read the students stories and watch video reviews.

SKI JAPAN 08
In February, Warren and Melody headed off to Japan to visit the new Japanese destinations for the Warren Smith Ski Academy Freeride Camps in February 2009. The Academy will be working with Inghams to make the perfect package for the trip. Read full news here...

VOLKL SKI TEST WEEK IN VERBIER
On the12th April Warren Smith Ski Academy course, there will be the added bonus of the testing Volkl Skis available to all participating on the course. RETURN FROM INJURY SKI CAMP SUCCESS
The Warren Smith Ski Academy and Wimbledon Clinics teamed up to offer Europe's first return from injury training camp aimed at intermediate, advanced and expert skiers. The venues included Pre-ski training in Wimbledon, and on snow training in Verbier. The camp was a huge sucess.

VERBIER WINTER COURSES START
The first course of the winter kicked off on 24th November in Verbier. The snow conditions were the best they had been in at least 5 years for the early season skiing.

SNOW + ROCK BOOT FITTING
The Warren Smith Ski Academy Team had a boot fitting session in Snow + Rock in preparation for the season. The Academy and Snow + Rock have joined forces to create the ultimate ski boot fitting. With the Academy's years of experience with clients ski boots and the expansive knowlege of ski biomechanics and Snow + Rocks years of experience with ski boots, there should be no better combination to create the best boot fitting technique around. XSCAPE COURSES @ SNO!ZONE
The Autumn Ski Academy courses at the Sno!zone indoor snowslopes of Milton Keynes, Castleford and Braehead were a huge sucess. Giving people the ability to keep up their ski technique in the off season and prepare for the courses in the winter proves a worthwhile process for the keen skier.

METRO SKI & SNOWBOARD SHOW
This year, once again, the Warren Smith Ski Academy were training skiers on the indoor skills slope at the Metro Ski & Snowboard Show at Kensington Olympia. It was a huge sucess and proved extremely popular with daunting queues each day. The Academy are already booked for the ski show next year, so make sure and get there early to beat the queues!
