WSSA Japan Powder Camp Pillows

We are now at the end of our final week here in Niseko, Japan and it’s been an absolute belter!
We received a huge 50cm dump earlier in the week which was then progressively topped up as the days went by.

This provided everything and more that each of our Academy groups was looking for.
The lightness of the snow gives such a great introduction to powder skiing for anyone who hasn’t had the chance to experience it before. Our less experienced groups all had the perfect opportunity to get in the deep stuff amongst Niseko’s world famous Silver Birch tree’s and loved every second of it!

The same can also be said for some of our more experienced groups. It was brilliant to test out people skills by skiing some of the tighter and steeper sections the area has to offer.

It’s no secret that Japan is a long way to come for a ski trip but this week was the perfect example as to why we come back to this amazing destination year after year. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Deep snow. Amazing terrain and an unforgettable experience.

The Academy team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made the effort to come all this way to ski with us here in Japan. Both weeks were fantastic to be part of and we have been blown away by the enthusiasm everyone had to take their skiing to new levels.

We hope you enjoy this final Japan video blog. The whole Academy team will be reunited this weekend to kick start the remainder of the winter season in Verbier.

Thanks for watching. Remember, if you like what you see please share and like our content and if you’d like to ask us any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
