EARLY SEASON ACADEMY COURSE SUCCESS

Early snow means freeride coaching in November/December 08

With the excellent early snow conditions, skiers on the November and December Warren Smith Ski Academy courses where up to their knees and sometimes waists in fantastic powder snow.  After November and December 2007 having such a great start it is starting to look like the great early snow starts to the winter season are coming back around.

There were a lot of smiles and some very weary bodies at the end of each day. But the powder skiing skills that were developed have certainly put them in a good position for the coming season which will be for sure a pleasure to all involved.

Warren said, “Back in the day we always had great snow in Verbier mid November.  Verbier is such a strong resort that even when the snow has been thin on the ground over the past 4 or 5 season the terrain is such that we can continue with business as normal.  With the snow making that Televerbier has in place we have never been let down to date.  Now with the back up of fantastic powder snow I think the early season ski courses are here to stay.  The other plus point is that the resort is so quiet with no queue’s, it feels like you’ve hired Verbier privately.”
