SUMMER SKI COURSE SUCCESS
In the Glacial Ski Resort of Saas-Fee
What a summer it turned out to be! Summer skiing is certainly becoming more popular with the Academy up 50% on skiers for summer 2008. The learning curve this summer was also impressive, with a lot of effort and energy being put in by everybody, coaches and clients.
People of all ages, from all walks of life - single, married, families - we saw a diverse range of people coming through. Many who have been with us before on the winter courses in Verbier, or the Spring and Autumn courses in the UK. There were people doing basic parallel skiing to professional skiers and instructors.
The ski conditions are good up on the glacier with the colder temperatures higher up, keeping the upper slopes in winter conditions. Saas-Fee has a reputation well above the rest. With the mountain currently opening at 7.30am and closing at 2pm, you can easily do a full days skiing.
There are only two more dates left on the summer calendar, 30th August - 6th September and 6th - 13th September. There are still places available for these dates so proceed to our booking page if you want to tune up your skiing and prepare for the winter.
