WARREN SMITH AND LAWRENCE DALLAGLIO TO CYCLE 933KMS FOR CHARITY
After Lawrence received 3 days of coaching from Warren this season, he wanted to return the favour!
Warren took Lawrence Dallaglio skiing this season to see what the big man was made of on the slopes. It was an amazing 3 days of development and Warren confirmed that Lawrence was one of the fastest learners in skiing he had ever coached. On day 1 Lawrence was making basic parallel turns and on day 3 short radius turns and the steep slope of Mont Fort were conquered. Quite an achievement!
On a chairlift in Verbier on the 3rd day Lawrence asked Warren if he fancied joining in with a cycle challenge in France. Warren agreed to doing it without realising too much of the details. He was a bit shocked when he found out it was 933km's over the French Pyrenees but as it was the big man asking and for the Bliss Charity he felt honoured to be a part of it.
This event will test more than just personal endurance. The team have also taken on the challenge of raising an amazing £175,000 for Bliss. From March through to September 2008 a range of fundraising events will take place to help boost the £50k that has already been raised by one individual alone.
