Utah, USA – Powder Ski Camps
New this year is the addition of Utah, USA to the Academy’s 2012 travel schedule. A high percentage of the Academy clients specifically want to ski deep powder. For this reason Utah is the perfect new addition to the Academy’s calendar.
With Ski Independence, the Academy have created a trip which incorporates both Snowbird and Park City. The first 6 days will be spent exploring Snowbird and the final 4 will be based in Park City.
Snowbird is situated in the the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon which a mile from Alta. Averaging approximately 500 inches of dry light powder annually with a lot of steep skiing and tree lines, makes it idea for the freerider.
Park City, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Sundance Film Festival, is alive and kicking. So after 6 days of continuous powder skiing in Snowbird, the addition of some colourful night time activities after a day on the snow will be available to those with endless energy!

Niseko, Japan – Powder Ski Camps
Once again, the Warren Smith Ski Academy – Japan Powder Ski Camps are opening up booking with the official travel partner of the trip, Ski Independence.
The camps take place in the European busy half term weeks in February. So not only are you skiing the best powder snow in the world, you are also doing it during half term in a queue free environment. On top of that you get the chance to experience true Japanese culture and amazing Japanese food.
