It’s so nice catching up with friends you hardly ever get to see. A good friend of mine Neil English, Ski Editor for the Mail on Sunday, came over to Verbier yesterday and was hoping to ski the backside of Mont Fort. I managed to find the time to ski with him today and we had a great day riding various different types of snow. I was surprised how Neil managed to ski some tricky snow in 40 degree plus gradients! It’s so nice to ski over the back of Mont Fort and get away from it all. Well done Neil, you made my day a lot of fun!
After skiing we joined up with the Academy groups at 1936, the Mongolian Yurt near Le Carrefour, with the usual pitchers of beer and everybody reflecting positively on a great week and helping Jon ‘Chopper’ Wilson celebrate his 43rd Birthday. Such a nice Friday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everybody tonight in the Farinet to put closure to the Academy course!
