warren smith ski academy Japan powder camp Rob Stanford Pillow

2016 will see the Academy’s 7th trip to the powder capitol of the world. Niseko, Japan. The finishing touches have finally been added to the schedule and we are now proud to announce that our powder camp is available to book by contacting the team.

This trip is set to be our most exciting to date. Due to the demand from previous years clients we are pleased to say that we have multiple accommodation options in the lively central hub of Hirafu. From here we will have fast access to the main lift stations, apres ski bars and restaurants.

We will have 8 days of skiing in total. 5 of those days will be lead by the Academy team. As well as finding the best powder stashes Niseko has to offer, the team will be there to get the most out of each persons performance and provide vital powder specific coaching to make sure that each turn will be one to remember.

Our two final days of the trip will be our first ever optional ski safari. Niseko is an incredible place on it’s own but there are also some local resorts within easy reach that are absolute gems.
Rusutsu and Kiroro are two lesser known but equally amazing ski areas that attract smaller crowds and boast amazing powder skiing terrain.

Travel and/or accommodation must be booked and organised by official Warren Smith Ski Academy trip partner, Ski Independence.  You will need to book your accommodation with Ski Independence to assure your place on the trip. Please contact Vikki directly at

Numbers are limited and availability will disappear fast so to join us on what will be an incredible skiing adventure please reserve your space by emailing the team at
