The first two dates of this years Ski technique Lab UK tour were a great success as we headed up north in to Scotland and presented our lecture to 3 audiences.
We were welcomed by an Ellis Brigham sell-out audience of keen skiers all hoping to go away with some useful ideas and exercises to help improve their knowledge base and on mountain technique.
On Friday we ventured further north up to the ski town and general outdoor sports mecca that is Fort William.
We were very lucky to be able to present two separate talks. The first of which took place at the West Highland College School Of Adventure Studies.
It was a pleasure to deliver our 3 Way Lineage model and 6 Way Foundation to the Sport and Science Degree students on campus. All the group went away with new found knowledge of how to assess ski technique and how we at the Academy analyse performance. Big thanks to Matt and Ed who helped put the visit together. We wish all the best to the students in everything they go onto in the future.
We then headed (across the road) to Ellis Brigham Fort William. Friday night saw us deliver our ski technique lab lecture to a great bunch at the store.
It’s our furthest away location of the whole tour, but similar to last year it proves to be one of the best!
An amazing journey up here followed by an incredibly engaged audience helped makes this a really enjoyable night with some more interesting results coming from our foundation tests.
The tour continues tonight to another sold out event in Manchester then it’s on to Castleford tomorrow.
We hope to see you somewhere on the rest of our tour!
