Warren Smith Ski Academy Cervinia courses

The second week of our November courses got underway this week in Breuil-Cervinia and Zermatt Matterhorn and the pristine conditions continued. The Academy team have been out in force as the popularity of these early season courses grows and grows.

As well as the superb piste conditions we have been getting all of this weeks groups into the bumps and mixed terrain. The levels have ranged from people who have a good deal of mileage in the moguls to people who have never attempted them before! All of the guys put in a huge amount of work and certainly achieved their goal.

It’s also been really exciting this week to run our Academy Pro team member training. This year we welcome some new members to our team. All of the guys come from an incredibly experienced background ranging from Jamie who has coached at the highest level in Verbier for the past 10 years to Emma who represented team GB in the Sochi Olympics. It’s been great having them out here this week and being so enthusiastic about learning the Academy coaching methodology. They will be a fantastic addition to our existing team and we can’t wait for you all to meet them.

This weekend see’s the arrival of the first major snow fall of the season. We’ve been waiting for a while now but the flakes are now falling outside the window and there’s a very wintery feel in the air. Next weeks course is bound to be a classic so be sure to keep up to date with all the action on our social media feeds.

Our video blogs are back with a weekly dose of action and chat from the team. Click the link below to see this weeks group’s progress and the incredible conditions that they experienced.
