Transformational seems to be the word of the week here in Cervinia Valtournenche – Ski Paradise and Zermatt Matterhorn
Off the back of last weeks huge snowfall, this weeks Academy members have been able to take full advantage of the incredible conditions.
Blue skies and cold temperatures have allowed the snow to stay dry and grippy all day long.
The groups have been able to explore not only the Italian side of the mountain but further on to the Zermatt side that is usually available at this time of the year.
One of the stand out experiences of this week has been the new lift that takes skiers from the Trocknersteg lift station in Zermatt to the Klein Matterhorn making it the highest cableway in Europe.
This has made an incredible difference to our courses as it dramatically reduces the time to get back over to the Italian slopes and also cuts out the need to use what were possibly the longest and coldest T-Bars in the world!
We have 3 more weeks of courses remaining here in Cervinia and we are almost sold out, so if you can squeeze in an early trip before the main part of the season kicks off in other resorts, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
