All prices are for 1-2 people. For each additional person after this there is small extra charge. Maximum group size is 6 per one instructor. Privates taking place in locations other than Verbier will incur extra costs. Prices are always quoted in CHF for private lessons. During the payment process you can choose to pay in CHF, Euros or GBP. (All prices are exempt from VAT). Cancellation of the booking must be made in writing (email) to the office at least two weeks in advance of the lesson date and a full refund will be issued. There will be no refund(s) provided for bookings cancelled within the two week prior to the lesson date. If the mountain is closed due to adverse weather a full refund or alternative date will be issued or arranged.
Private lessons
Private ski coaching and lessons are a fantastic way to accelerate your skiing and learning process and really focus on areas of your skiing that need attention. We offer many different private products to cater for your needs – all bespoke and designed with what you want to achieve in mind. With every private lesson comes the same high grade coaching from one of the academy pro team coaches with drills and exercises to move your skiing on. Video analysis will also be part of your private lesson if requested and if you have a specific coach you’d prefer please let us know when booking. Regular and beginner lessons
Be it a beginner lesson, a kids lessons, a few hours tune up, an intro to carving or bumps or any other regular private lesson we’re here for you. Let us know what you’d like and we’ll almost certainly have the solution! When sending your request please give us an indication on the number of people, current ski ability, any desires/goals, if you’d like somewhere nice booked for lunch and anything else you feel would be relevant to get the most out of the lesson(s).
Off Piste
At the academy we have and always will specialise in helping people of all abilities improve their technique and venture into the off-piste terrain on offer. Verbier is a fantastic resort for numerous reasons but, above any of it’s other positives, at heart is is an unbelievable off-piste resort with huge amounts of accessible off-piste terrain to allow people of all levels to venture away from the piste and experience the amazingly varied and exciting terrain on offer.
Prices are the same as our regular private pricing but if you’d like an off-piste orientated lesson please say when you get in touch and be sure to turn up with avalanche equipment (transceiver, shovel and probe).
Photoshoot
If you’re after a lasting memory of your trip why not have a photoshoot or video edit made to commemorate the trip? If this is of interest you’ll love our photography and videography private package.
You’ll be accompanied during one or multiple days by one of our expertly trained coaches to not only help you improve your skiing but also capture the best moments throughout the day(s) using professional camera equipment, edit the best photos or videos for you and send them over within the next few days.
Price – 899CHF for either a photoshoot day or video shoot day.
It wouldn’t be possible to do both to the standard we do within one day but if you’d like both please let us know and we’ll package this into a multiple day package based on what you’re after.
Fitness Check
Off-snow fitness and biomechanics check! Our team will be able to take you through the full Warren Smith Ski Academy Ski Fitness program and also check your mobility and flexibility and run you through our lab tests – this program would take place off-snow to help develop your ski fitness, understanding and awareness for areas you can continue to develop off-snow to have a huge affect on your skiing and give you an understanding and aim for developing your body when you can’t ski but can train in the gym/at home.
Due to the off-snow nature of these sessions they are very suited to our base in Cervinia where we have access to a large area with the necessary fitness equipment. Although possible in Verbier it is harder to arrange. Price is 300CHF for a one to one 2-3hr session (time varies depending on individual needs, strengths and weaknesses).
Hire an Elite Coach
Our entire team are excellent and fully capable of delivering the highest level of coaching and ski development but the elite coaches have been with the Academy for over 10 years, are hugely in demand and have leadership roles within the Academy above and beyond their individual coaching roles. As coaches they all hold the highest qualifications, have enormous experience and the ability to teach and develop everything and anything you could ask for.
For these reasons, we have a slightly different system if you wish to book an elite coach. Firstly – they can only be booked for full days, Secondly – the price for a full day private with an elite coach is CHF750. Currently the elite coaches are Rob Stanford, Jordan Revah and Fiona Revah.
Hire Warren
Warren can be hired for private coaching at a daily fee of 899CHF. Please be aware that he is usually booked up far in advance, therefore bookings may not always be possible.
Corporate Privates
We cater for corporate bookings and can help you organise and arrange your trip to suit your needs and desires. Basic pricing follows our normal pricing mentioned earlier – depending on specialist requests and amount of organisation needed there will be an additional fee to account for this. As with all private bookings everything is bespoke so please get in touch with whatever you’re after and we’ll take things from there!
