WSSA JAPAN POWDER CAMP – FURANO 2019
The wait is over and after finalising the last few details with our partners at Ski Safari, we are happy to say that our Japan Powder Camp for 2019 will take place from January 26th until February 5th.
We will be running one 10 day trip to the magical resort of Furanoin the heart of Hokkaido’s ‘Powder Belt’. If last year’s trip is anything to go by it is sure to be another phenomenal experience that any keen skier should experience at least once in their lives!
The terrain in Furano is perfect for any level of skier. It offers some super challenging skiing in amongst the miles of silver birch trees but also acts as the perfect introduction for anyone wanting to tackle powder for the first time. Furano is still one of Japan’s best kept secrets and unlike the bigger more popular resorts like Niseko, still has a very authentic Japanese feel. The food in the local restaurants is quite simply out of this world!
On the course, our Academy team will not only find the best and most exciting areas to ski, but we will also give you the tools and tactics needed to maximise each run to ensure every turn is one you will not forget!
