WSSA - JAPAN POWDER CAMPS 2027

The dates and details are set, and we are happy to announce that our 2027 Japan Powder Camp is now online!

We’re heading back to northern Honshu to explore the quieter, untouched Tohoku region, home to some of the best powder skiing on the planet, paired with a genuinely authentic Japanese experience.

We’ll start with a night in Tokyo for a social and to get organised, the following morning travelling in style and speed on the Shinkanzen to our first resort of Aomori Spring. Day 1 will be a relaxed first day to shake off the travel and get your legs moving, then well roll straight into 6 full days of coaching, chasing powder across four different resorts, each bringing something a bit different to the table.

Aomori Spring, Appi Kogen, Okunakayama Kogen and Geto Kogen have all been carefully selected with help from our partners at Japan Ski Tours (JST) to ensure we ski some of the best terrain and best snow in the area.

The itinerary is full. Multiple locations exploring everything that this relatively quiet part of the island has to offer. Bullet trains, Onsens, local food and of course some of the best powder skiing you will ever experience.

• 6 days of coaching with WSSA (small groups of 5–6)
• Dedicated JST trip facilitator throughout
• Tokyo hotel stays (Jan 31 & Feb 😎
• Dinners and cultural activities at all locations.

• Return Shinkansen ultra-luxury class (bullet train) tickets: Tokyo ↔ resorts
• All in-country transfers (private coach + train where needed)
• Luggage transfers on Jan 31 & Feb 8

• 2 nights (Jan 31 and Feb 😎 - Tokyo Daiwa Roynet Hotel
• 2 nights – Aomori Spring Rockwood Hotel (Feb 1–2)
• 3 nights – ANA Crowne Plaza Appi Kogen (Feb 3–5)

Ahead of our official 2026/27 Winter course launch in a few weeks, we are delighted to announce our Autumn course schedule in Cervino Ski Paradise and Zermatt Matterhorn

Taking place over November, these pre winter courses have long been an Academy favourite for both our clients and coaching team.

This traditionally quieter time of the season boasts some of the best conditions throughout the year. Cold temperatures and phenomenal pistes provide the perfect template for you to get the ideal preparation ahead of the main winter season.
